Amore Pasta patrons receive FREE pasta with donation to Madden Deluca Foundation during opening week
When Amore Pasta owners Nick and Cristo Crudo decided to offer customers a meal on the house in exchange for a donation to the Madden Deluca Foundation, he couldn’t have imaged making 1,112 plates of pasta – but that’s exactly what they did!
During Amore Pasta’s grand opening (Nov 16-20), over a thousand hungry visitors raised $12,000 for the charity that funds pediatric cardiac research at the Stollery Children’s Hospital. The cause is one that close to the Crudo brothers’ own hearts, as they know the Deluca’s well and witnessed the family’s difficult journey with congenital heart disease.
“It means a great deal to us to help such an important cause,” Cristo says.
With their latest venture seeing such success during its first week (their also the men behind The Black Pearl and Cafe Amore Bistro), the Crudos have only positive visions for Amore Pasta. The business is built upon a strong core concept – freshly-made quality pasta cooked in front of your very eyes!
At Amore Pasta, you can indulge in signature pasta creations conceptualized by culinary professionals, like their Jamaican style dish (see image above) that features beef, prawns, green onions, roasted corn and chickpeas in a spicy jerk cream sauce… or you can create your own! Choose from lip-smacking sauce options, premium cheeses like bocconcini and fresh mozzarella, and finish it off with a tiramisu you can’t resist!
If you appreciate mouth-watering options on a menu where every choice is a good choice, this is the place for you!
